Tuesdi Woodworth Joins Marine Systems Training Center in Thomaston.
Susan Swanton, Executive Director of the Maine Marine Trades Association (MMTA) announced this week that Tuesdi Woodworth has joined the Marine Systems Training Center in Thomaston as Director.
Ms. Woodworth has worked in Maine's marine industry for the past 10 years. In recent years, she sat on the board of the Maine Marine Trades Association, and served as its President in 2009. She has been involved with the Marine Systems Training Center (MSTC) since its inception in 2007. "We are very excited to have Tuesdi take over at the helm of the MSTC," says Swanton. "I have had the pleasure of working with her for the past several years through the MMTA, and am confident that her enthusiasm and love for this industry will do great things for the Center."
Ms. Woodworth's primary role will be to promote the MSTC and its programs throughout Maine, and beyond. She will be working closely with all the Marine Trades Industry Groups to promote the training and opportunities offered at the facility. "I am so happy to be aboard at the Center," said Ms. Woodworth earlier this week. "I am very passionate about this industry, and this school. It is my goal to encourage educational opportunities leading to and furthering careers in the marine trades, thereby strengthening this vibrant and traditional Maine industry."
